Program promotion and awareness campaign.
May 26, 2017
Participation registration deadline. Confirmation of registration will be emailed to the primary contact within the next business day. An invoice will be emailed within 15 days (unless payment is made online). Payment is due within 30 days of invoice receipt.

Registered companies choosing to withdraw from the process (by contacting a Best Companies Group representative) may do so by this date without incurring a withdrawal fee.
May 31, 2017

A web link for the Email Upload Portal is emailed to the primary contact at each company to upload employee email addresses for survey distribution. The deadline to upload the file containing the email addresses is June 2 (online option only).

Deadline to submit all employee survey customization requests (optional).
Deadline to request alternate language surveys (if applicable).
Deadline to request surveying additional employees (beyond the random sample or ineligible employees).
Deadline to submit the Employee Eligibility Check List (paper option only).

June 2, 2017
Deadline to submit employee email addresses to BCG via the Email Upload Portal. This is also the deadline to request any access codes for employees without company email addresses (online option only).

June 2, 2017

A web link for the online Employer Benefits & Policies Questionnaire (EQ) will be emailed to the primary contact at each of the registered companies.

June 9, 2017

Paper version of the employee survey and postage-paid return envelopes are mailed UPS to the primary contact at participating companies for distribution (paper option only).

June 16, 2017
Completed online Employer Questionnaire (EQ) is due. The EQ must be completed in order to be considered for the list.
June 23, 2017
Online Employee Engagement & Satisfaction Survey invitations are sent via email (online option only).

July 5, 2017

Deadline for paper version of the employee survey (paper option only).

July 14, 2017

Deadline for all online employee surveys (online option only).

August 2017

BCG prepares and sends notification letters or emails to the primary contacts at participating companies.
September 2017
The Employee Feedback Reports are emailed to companies. Only the Demographic and Comments Reports are sent at this time.
October 10, 2017

Awards event for “Best Places to Work in Maine” will be held at the Augusta Civic Center.

October 2017

Mainebiz issue highlighing the list-making companies is released. The Employee Benchmark Report and Employer Benchmark Summary are emailed to participating companies following the publication.
